Denise Medcraff

Denise Medcraff studied at Strathclyde University in Glasgow and has a wide range of experience designing for commercial, residential, education and healthcare sectors during her successful career with IBI Group. As Studio Principal, Denise oversees the operational and service quality of various sizes and complexity of projects via various procurement routes including. A talented architect herself, Denise is extremely practiced at managing in-house architectural teams as well as coordinating consultants. Her project management skills allow her to direct the team while ensuring the projects achieve design excellence via a robust quality management system.

In healthcare, Denise has wide-ranging experience working with Trusts, private health providers and contractors to deliver estate strategies, master planning, refurbishment and new build commissions. In Education, Denise is specializes in the design development stages of Higher Education projects, reviewing the student journey and experience through the built environment. Denise’s practical knowledge of client and working group consultation, follows the design process though a structured series of meetings and end user workshops which in turn develops the client?s vision through to fruition.
